Old Paths Baptist Church was established on Jan 23, 2020 for the sole purpose of carrying out our Lord Jesus Christ’s Great Commission in the New Llano, Leesville, Vernon Parish area, and support missionary work around the world.
We are focused on preaching and teaching the Word of God by rightly dividing the Word of Truth. We are not a social gospel entertainment based church, but are here to help people see their need of Jesus Christ as their sole source of salvation (Peace with God) : Romans 5:1 (KJV) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
We focus on making disciples for Jesus Christ by preaching and teaching the need to grow in God’s Grace and in the knowledge of the Lord and to serve Him according to His Will with a surrendered life that is filled with and led by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
With the recent events of this world and the resulting loss of Constitutional freedoms, increasing government controls and restrictions, mistrust of the out of control government and courts, rampant crime and drug use, chaos and every manner of crisis around the world, it is no wonder folks are confused, angry and afraid. In these perilous times, God has His peace, purpose and plans working for those that personally know Him and are trusting Him by faith
Philippians 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
